On behalf of our entire team @ Reds, we’d like to welcome you to our restaurant and to Rockford.   We hope you check out our website regularly to see what we are whipping up for our daily beverage, bar, small plates, and entree specials.  I also will post on this blog what’s fresh off the farm, how we intend to use our local favorites, and what’s scheduled for special themed dinners and cooking and wine school.

It is my privilege to work with our talented team in a true scratch kitchen and create not only exceptional meals, but creative specials.

Reds is unique in many ways – starting with our commitment to scratch.  This means we use all fresh ingredients, nothing processed or packaged.  We build stocks every night for soups, sauces, and reductions; layering in flavor throughout each step of the way.

This also means we know exactly what is in our food – a critical benefit to those with food allergies or intolerances.
